Musings of a three day old Bangkokian...

After three days of wandering aimlessly through the streets of my little neighbourhood I have come to the following conclusions:

If you have a strong aversion to any combination of the following, Bangkok may not be the place for you...

1. Strong smells...of the unpleasant genre
2. Stinky black rivers
3. Traffic jams
4. Exhaust
5. Poverty
6. Fish sauce

However, if you enjoy the following, Bangkok may be the place for you...

1. taxi cabs
2. street noodles
3. swimming pools
4. cheap everything
5. 24hour nightlife
6. 1$ beer
7. smiles

Of course these are only the observations of a 3day old newborn. We'll see how things change as time goes on.
