No trip to kyoto is complete without geisha of course. I'm pretty sure that this was a fake one. You can pay to get dressed up like one and have your photo taken. However, we did see a whole gaggle of geisha who were actually legit later on in the evening. They were being hurried along by their overbearing "geisha-mom-type-thing" and quickly made their escape in waiting cabs.
