This is a fairly typical building in Sao Carlos city. 400 years old, delapitated due to lack of money for upkeep, empty and for rent. I saw some of the most amazing buildings there but so many of them were in this kind of shape. Hopefully as the town grows more money will arrive and people will be able to fix them up. The ones that are restored are amazing and sicne they are all made of nothing but concrete they won't be falling down anytime soon.
