My arch nemesis in Brasil....ants. They were either busy eating my newly planted flowers or it that wasn't enough, they were eating me. They have a species on ant down there called "foot washers" because if you step on thier hole you foot in instantly "washed" in tiny ants bitting you like it going out of style and yes, it hurts.
