One cannot have thier picture taken in Japan without a flurry of fingers rushing to form the omnipresent "kawaii V" This is not a peace sign (or a British style insult). I don't really know what it's supposed to mean but when I asked my students why they are constantly obstructing thier faces with random fingers they all say "it's cute". Oh well, who am I to judge. Since graduation is "all about the kids" I decided to follow suit (I did my backwards to be all rebellious and offensive...only to the Brits though)
